Berkeley is a design-lovers’ dream. The bird’s eye centre panels bordered
by distinctive geometric marquetry, stepped mouldings and optional
keystone detailing owe much to Art-Deco styling of the 20s and 30s.
However, Berkeley takes this angular style and gives it a modern-day feel
with pale maple veneers and smooth-flowing, integrated
appliances. Touches of steel, chrome and glass add to the allure.
Here our designer has styled a Berkeley kitchen to complement the
contours of a former oast house. Voluminous curved drawer-units and
sweeping walnut worktops add that final touch of decadence.
